Capítulo 23 - YOU ARE THE BEST THING 

THAT’S EVER BEEN MINE! -

Al otro día, el casting llega. Hay miles de chicos. Todos se intimidan un poco al ver a Danny. El primer baterista me encanta. Le pone la re onda y además toca un tema de McFly.

Danny: This one is cool

Vos: You’re saying it cause he says you’re his idol

Danny: Shut up

Vos: Ahahaha -. Con el bajista hay un problema…

Danny: This guys is too hot. Come on

Vos: He’s a good bass player

Danny: Nonono

Vos: Ahahaha. Come on. You? Danny Jones? Jealous?

Danny: Wha? No

Vos: Mmmm -. El guitarrista LA ROMPE. Me encató. No es muy lindo, pero la rompe. Y el baterista es super copado. Copadísimo. Tocó Don’t stop me now. Amazing. Los chicos ya están adentro, son Nick en el bajo, Matt en la batería y Josh en la guitarra!

Los días pasan y la fecha del primer concierto se acerca. Cada noche Danny yo tenemos que ir a fiestas y eventos hasta muy tarde. Es un bajon. Onda que no me molesta estar con el todas las noches, pero es un poco loco tener que estar a su lado, sonriendo todo el tiempo, lo lindo es que no importa nada, estamos siempre juntos, adentro, afuera… como sea. Eso es lo mejor. Lo malo es que un par de veces nos sacaron fotos medias subiditas de tono, por lo que Danny ya no me deja que lo bese mucho delante de las cámaras o en lugares públicos jaja. Pero no es mi culpa que mi novio sea tan hermoso y esté tan bueno. Lo malo era que… aveces volvia llorando a casa. No seguíamos viviendo juntos. De vez en cuando, me quedaba en su casa (muy seguido jaja) o el en la mia (también muy seguido) de vez en cuando, volvía a casa mal. Aveces lloraba. No se porqué, pero muchas veces temrinabamos peleando por boludeces, y el después pedía perdón, pero yo lloraba igual. Peleábamos en el evento, o peleábamos en el auto… o en la casa.

Una tarde, Cami me llama…

Cami: Lo tengo

Vos: Que?

Cami: Ya sé con que podes cagar a Maru

Vos: Con que?

Cami: Con tus fotos

Vos: AAAAAAAAAH SOS UNA GENIA. TE AMO. TE AMO. TE AMO!!! -. Corto el teléfono y estoy muy feliz, pero Jack llama

Jack: Hi. Bad news…

Vos: What? What happened?

Jack: You won’t sing a duet with Danny

Vos: Aw… ok. It’s ok. Don’t worry

Jack: I’m really sorry. We need you to sing 5 songs. You got the 5 songs?

Vos: Yeah. I got it. One will be a McFly cover

Jack: GREAT. Great. Sorry let you down, but

Vos: It’s ok. I think is too much already sing at the same stage

Jack: You’re time will come. Don’t worry.

Vos: Haha. I hope so…

Corto y me siento mal. Agarro el cel y vuelvo a llamar a Cami

Vos: Necesito que se comuniquen con Maru. Las fotos esas son de mi propiedad. Necesito también una copia de la revista, sino esta mi nombre ahí impreso en las fotos… podemos hacer lo que queramos con ella

Cami: La vas a hacer echar?

Vos: Podría… pero también podría pasarnos info… vos que decis?

Cami: Mmmmm me gusta. Che. Mañana a que hora en Wembley?

Vos: A las 8.30. yo toco 8.30 p.m

Cami: Buenísimo. Vamos con Louis y Harry… acordate

Vos: Si… si… ya tengo los pases.

Cami: Ay mi amiga va a ser famosa

La noche llega. Estoy super nerviosa. Hablo con los chicos por un rato cosa que me hagan despejar un poco. Tom me hace chistes, los veo hacer boludeces y veo a Maru a lo lejos con Dougie hablando de brazos cruzados… supongo que no sabía que iba a tocar… jaja. Que lástima. Cami, Louis y Harry se me acercan para desearme suerte. Hablo con ellos un rato y se quedan con los chicos en el Backstage hasta que…

Danny: Ok… this is your time

VOS: OK

Danny: You’re nervous?

Vos: YEAH

Danny: Ok – me besa en la boca y me sonríe – You’ll be fine

Tom: Ahhh good luck girl!

Harry J me sonríe y me da una palmada en la espalda.

Danny: You will open with Full Circle and close with Mine?

Vos: Yeah

Danny: Great!

Vos: Yeah -. Las luces se apagan y me hacen entrar al escenario las chicas gritan al verme. Veo las caras de las chicas de adelante. No son muy amigables. Me paro frente a ellas con la guitarra y desde lejos se escucha el mini órgano en el principio de full circle

Ryan (un chico que no va a formar parte de la band, sino que solo va a tocar el teclado en esta cnación) toca y me mira. Le sonrío y comienzo

Vos: I’ve been in a road back and forth enogh heart like a wheel – veo que algunas de las chicas sonrien y tararean y cantan, onda como si conocieran la canción. Cuando llego al estribillo muchas cantan, onda. CONOCEN MI CANCIÓN. No lo puedo creer. Sonrío. No puedo evitarlo. Me acerco a Josh con mi guitarra en el estribillo. Es muy divertido. Ya no estoy nerviosa. Sigo con Here we go again. Y veo a las chicas hacer pogo. Me aplauden cuando termino de cantar.

La tercer canción es I’m Only Me When I’m With You.

Vos: So… this song is about a guy you guys know VERY WELL

Crowd: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Vos: He’s everything to me so… I wrote this song to him

Nick se acerca a mi y comenzamos a tocar los dos juntos.

Vos: Friday Night beneath the stars… -. La gente enloquece con el That I’m only up when you’re not down – yo salto, Josh y Nick también y todas las chicas se derriten con mi baterista Matt!

La cuarta canción es un cover de los McFly

Vos: I guess they don’t sing this song for a while so… I love this song… - comienzan a tocar los chicos.

comienzo a saltar con el micrófono en la mano y Nick se vuelve loco

Terminamos la canción y las chicas no paran de aplaudirme. No lo puedo creer. Me re emociono. Me empiezan a lagrimear los ojos y agradezco

Crowd: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! – con la guitarra encima comienzo a tocar. Sonrío. Nick se me acerca y le sonrio…
